Research Topic B

Abstract of the proposed UNIPhD research project

Her research project is focused on understanding how emotional intelligence and social anxiety are related to autistic traits in children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and in children who don’t meet the criteria for diagnosis but exhibit a high degree of these traits in the general population. The project also aims to determine the influence of culture on the presence and intensity of these variables, so populations from different countries have been considered. Understanding how these factors relate to each other can contribute to designing more effective interventions.
