Research Topic B

Abstract of the proposed UNIPhD research project

Her research project is focused on an Emotional Intelligence training program for children with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) from 6 to 12 years old without intellectual disabilities, in order to determine the impact it has on symptoms of depression and anxiety in this population. The general objective is to develop emotional intelligence as a skill in this population in order to find out if it can function as a protective factor against depression and anxiety, which are disorders that are commonly presented in comorbidity with ASD.
