How does the University of Padua communicate research? The three main goals of a university are: research, teaching, and scientific dissemination. Sharing its projects, activities, and results with the public through various means and languages across different communication tools, the University of Padua uses the official website, social media networks, the Il Bo Live online magazine, and the organisation of events to convey and communicate research.

    Chiara works as Web and
    Social Media manager and is a Web Content Specialist, editor and writer at the
    Communication Office of the University of Padua. Chiara contributes as a
    journalist for the University of Padua online magazine, Il Bo Live. She mainly writes about history, art, architecture and issues
    having an international impact and relevance. Chiara holds a PhD in
    Architecture from the University of Venice (IUAV) and spent some time studying
    and conducting research at the University of Manchester, UK and at the
    University of California, Berkeley, U.S.A. Chiara enjoyed teaching and
    conducting research while at the University of Venice (IUAV) before starting
    her career at Unipd to focus on both her passion for writing and her “American”
    studies in web and computer graphics. She manages the Appuntamenti (Events) column of Il
    Bo Live and collaborates in the organization of Unipd events. She is a
    member of the Communication Team within the Arqus Erasmus+ international
    alliance, involving partners from 7 European Universities.

    Professional
    journalist since 2010, Francesca collaborated with different media and
    newspapers by writing about culture and current affairs. She has also worked in
    communication and for a press office. Since 2016, Francesca works as a content
    editor with the web staff at the University of Padua, and collaborates with the
    University magazine Il Bo Live.

    Speaker, author and
    journalist, Pietro started working at RadioBue.it – college radio at the University
    of Padua – and then explored different fields and media: video, podcast, live
    shows, interviews. Now Pietro is the social media manager at the University. It
    is very likely that you have seen him riding around on a bicycle, a great
    passion of him.
